Nathan was born in Hamilton and spent his childhood growing up just outside of Dundas.
Nathan moved to Burlington with his wife in 2018 where he and his family still reside. He
graduated from the University of Guelph in 2011 with a Bachelor of Environmental Science
with a major in Natural Resource Management.

Nathan has a successful career in renewable energy development. During the last 13
years, he has had the opportunity to develop projects across many provinces which has
exposed him to various perspectives, challenges, and benefits of sustainable
development. Under his current role, Nathan leads a team of professionals on numerous
projects across various jurisdictions in Canada.

Nathan and his wife thoroughly enjoy the outdoors and love spending time in the various
green spaces and conservation areas around Halton and Hamilton where they have
enjoyed introducing their children to outdoor activities. Nathan has always been
appreciative of the natural world and is committed to further awareness of the benefits
the environment provides to us. Nathan directly attributes his respect of the outdoors to
his father who taught and encouraged Nathan his whole life.

Nathan joined the Board of Directors in December 2024 and sees this as an opportunity
to actively contribute to a meaningful organization which promotes the same
sustainability, advocacy, education, and community principles which he strongly
supports.

Nathan is excited to serve on the board of Burlington Green and the opportunity to both
contribute and learn from the amazing individuals who govern the organization.
