Volunteer opportunities include shoreline restoration, water testing, waste characterizations, litter clean-ups and more. Bay Area Restoration Council (BARC) promotes, monitors and assesses implementation of the Hamilton Harbour Remedial Action Plan; enhances the restoration and public understanding of the social-ecological systems of the Hamilton Harbour watershed through community engagement, educational programming and issues analysis; and communicates, collaborates and creates opportunities that support and add value to the remedial efforts of our partner agencies, community groups and public volunteers.

In Burlington, our work with the community takes place within the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, and
