Volunteer, Fundraising & Community Engagement Manager
Sue’s experience within social services, civic engagement organizations, higher education and health care, includes engaging volunteers, developing partnerships, anti-racism and anti-oppression work, grassroots advocacy, political organizing, and a wide range of fundraising disciplines.
Sue is eager to connect with you about collaborative partnerships, impactful volunteer opportunities, older adult programming, rewarding sponsorship opportunities and ways to help raise funds to support BG’s important work with the community.
Inspired by early years in nature, Sue loves to camp, hike, canoe and garden.
Some of Sue’s favourite ways to tread more lightly on the planet include no-till vegetable gardening, re-usable food containers, cooking and baking from scratch (especially dried legumes!), taking walks, eating little meat, infrequent air travel, advocating for local change through her neighborhood residents association, and working at BurlingtonGreen!
